Anna-Dean Farm

Anna-Dean Farm is a historic agricultural property in Barberton with eight surviving buildings from a much larger original complex built in the early 1900s. The remaining structures display architectural features typical of that farming era.

The property was established in 1905 as an agricultural estate with substantial infrastructure and development. Most of the original buildings were later removed, though some structures from that founding period remain visible today.

The farm reveals how rural life and work were organized during the early modern agricultural period. Visitors can observe how buildings and spaces served everyday farming operations.

Access to the site is available through scheduled guided tours that show the grounds and remaining buildings, so advance planning is recommended. The Barberton Historical Society provides additional information and reference materials on-site.

The original owner constructed a grand mansion on the grounds, one of the most opulent residences of its time in the region, before it was demolished in the mid-20th century. Today only the preserved agricultural buildings remain to suggest the former scale and wealth of the estate.
