BU Castle, Tudor Revival mansion in Boston, US
The stone structure features Gothic arched windows, peaked dormers, and turrets, with a grand hall and multiple side rooms inside the building.
William Lindsey commissioned the construction in 1904, completing this residence in 1915 at a cost of 500,000 dollars after gaining wealth from ammunition belt designs.
The building contains medieval European artifacts, including a stained glass lantern from Arundel Castle and a bronze door depicting the Temptation of Eve.
The Castle functions as Boston University's event venue, hosting daily gatherings such as weddings, reunions, and luncheons in its various reception spaces.
A hidden door in the upper levels leads to a steep stairway that William Lindsey used to access his private writing study.
