Burtner House

Burtner House is a three-story stone structure that rises along Burtner Road in Harrison Township. The building was designed with spacious rooms and features multiple windows and two prominent chimneys.

The house was built in the early 1800s by Phillip Burtner and served for decades as a meeting place for community gatherings. It was also a location where important administrative tasks such as elections and tax matters were handled.

The house is maintained by a local association that preserves and displays items from different periods of the family's life. Visitors can see everyday objects that show how people lived and worked in this home.
