Eldora Park, Historical amusement park in Carroll Township, Pennsylvania.
The entertainment complex occupied land between Charleroi, Monongahela, and Donora, featuring a roller coaster, merry-go-round, and dance pavilion for visitors.
Established in 1901 on former Wickerham family property, the park operated for three decades before closing in the 1940s during World War II.
The dance hall hosted performances by Lawrence Welk, Frank Lombardo, and The Golden Gate Five, while serving as a gathering place for mine workers.
The Pittsburgh Railways Company provided access through its Charleroi Interurban streetcar line, connecting visitors from surrounding communities to the park.
Frederick Ingersoll, who designed similar attractions at Kennywood Park, created the Figure Eight roller coaster that became a central feature.
