East High Street Historic District, Historic district at East High Street in Springfield, United States.

The district contains five contributing properties along East High Street, showcasing late 19th-century architectural designs including Richardsonian Romanesque and Renaissance Revival styles.

Springfield's East High Street transformed from agricultural land in the 1840s when the Foos brothers, Gustavus and William, developed portions for residential purposes.

The Buchwalter family residence represented the social status of Springfield's industrial leaders, with Clementine Buchwalter leading the local women's club movement.

The district spans five acres and includes historic mansions at addresses 805, 810, 815, 825, and 838 East High Street.

The former residence of Asa S. Bushnell at 838 East High features stone facades, large archways, and multiple fireplaces with detailed woodwork.
