The Third Presbyterian Church features stone walls, rounded arches, and an octagonal onion dome supported by detailed architectural elements throughout the structure.
Completed in 1894, the church was designed by Charles A. Cregar and built by Russell Brothers firm, marking the final architectural project of Cregar's career.
The congregation began with over one hundred charter members in 1891 and expanded to 346 members by 1908 under minister George H. Fullerton's leadership.
The building maintains its religious function as Fellowship Christian Church conducts regular services in this National Register of Historic Places listed structure.
The church's octagonal dome design draws inspiration from Jerusalem's Dome of the Rock, incorporating uncommon architectural elements for buildings of this period.
