Vinh Stadium

Vinh Stadium is a football facility in Vinh, Vietnam, designed to hold around 18,000 spectators on concrete grandstands with covered seating sections and modern drainage systems. The ground features a natural grass pitch surrounded by an eight-lane running track for athletics events.

The facility was built between 1973 and 1974 with technical assistance from West Germany, making it one of the region's earliest modern sports venues. Major renovations in 2003 upgraded the infrastructure to meet international sporting standards.

The stadium serves as home to Song Lam Nghe An Football Club, one of Vietnam's most successful teams that draws passionate supporters from across the province. Matchdays here create an intense atmosphere where local communities gather to celebrate their team's triumphs.

The stadium is centrally located in Vinh and easy to access, with separate entrances for home and away supporters to keep crowds organized. Visitors will find food and drink vendors throughout the venue, though it is wise to arrive early on matchdays to find good seating and avoid crowds.
