Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts, Imperial art museum in Hue, Vietnam
The museum resides in Long An Palace, a structure with 128 carved timber pillars and traditional Vietnamese architectural elements spanning 6,330 square meters.
Founded in 1923 under King Khai Dinh's decree, the museum started as Musee Khai Dinh to showcase Vietnamese artistic achievements and royal heritage.
The museum houses 16 collections containing over 300 artifacts made from gold, glazed terra-cotta, and porcelain, representing the Nguyen Dynasty's artistic traditions.
Located at 3 Le Truc Street in Phu Hau district, the museum opens daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with entrance fees of 150,000 VND for adults.
The palace walls feature 1,000 poems in Chinese script, including two compositions by King Thieu Tri, alongside intricate depictions of dragons, lions, tortoises, and phoenixes.
