Lục Nam

Lục Nam is a rural district in Bắc Giang featuring rice fields, fruit orchards, and natural waterways that shape the landscape. The terrain is generally flat with agricultural land interspersed with residential and working areas throughout the region.

The district served as an important administrative and agricultural center under several Vietnamese dynasties, which established farming systems and settlement patterns. These early influences continue to shape how communities are organized and how farming is practiced today.

The best way to arrive is by private car or local bus from Hanoi, which are both readily available options. Sturdy footwear is recommended since field paths and walkways between farms can be unpaved or uneven.

A natural spring stream called Suoi Mo flows through a valley between mountains and creates multiple water pools with interesting stone formations. This spot remains lesser visited by tourists and offers quiet areas away from settled zones.
