Ben Thuy II Bridge

Ben Thuy II Bridge is a road crossing over the Cả River linking two districts in Nghệ An and Hà Tĩnh provinces. The structure features four traffic lanes designed to carry vehicles moving between the two riverbanks.

Construction began in 2008 following concerns about the stability of the original crossing. It was built as an additional connection upstream from the older bridge.

The bridge functions as an essential connection point between the provinces of Nghệ An and Hà Tĩnh, influencing the daily routines of local communities.

The bridge is designed for regular vehicle traffic and provides a safe route across the river. When visiting the region, it functions as a standard crossing option for travel between districts.

The structure incorporates prestressed concrete reinforcement and can withstand earthquakes up to level 8. This design makes it one of the more resilient infrastructure projects in the region.
