Fizagat Recreation Park

The park spreads along the banks of the Swat River near Mingora, featuring lakes, playgrounds, and green spaces across its grounds.

Malak Bairam Khan established Fizagat Park in 1984 as chairman of the Municipal Committee of Mingora, leading to its development as a regional recreation center.

The park incorporates separate sections for families and women, reflecting local customs while providing entertainment spaces for the entire community.

Entry tickets cost 20 rupees per person, with the park remaining open from sunrise until dusk, offering optimal visiting conditions during November and December.

A diesel-powered cable car system transports visitors over the forested slopes, ending at an observation point overlooking the man-made lake and camping grounds.
