The Romanian Navy Museum occupies 10,775 square meters with 30 rooms displaying maritime artifacts, ships, uniforms, and navigation instruments from different periods.
Founded in 1909 as part of Marina High School, the museum received its current form in 1969 through an initiative supported by the Romanian government.
The collection includes 37,800 pieces across 33 categories, featuring marine uniforms from 1860, medals, weapons, and communication equipment used by Romanian naval forces.
Located at Strada Traian 53 in Constanța, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with guided tours available in multiple languages.
The museum displays a third-century amphora containing sheep tallow and a fifteenth-century monoxila, representing ancient maritime trade in the Black Sea region.
