St. Julian's Church, Eastern Orthodox church in Pushkin, Russia
The church building features Russian Revival architectural elements with traditional onion domes, decorative stone carvings, and intricate facade details from the late 19th century.
Constructed between 1895 and 1899 under architects V.N. Kuritsyn and S.A. Danini, the church commemorates the wedding of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
The church honors Saint Julian of Tarsus, with the upper chapel dedicated to this martyr and the lower chapel devoted to prophet Elijah.
The church structure accommodates 900 people and contains 12 bells in its tower, which visitors can access through two separate gallery entrances.
This religious building originally served His Majesty's Cuirassiers Life Guards Regiment of the Russian Imperial Guard before returning to Orthodox worship in 1995.
