Huacui Bridge, Road bridge in Banqiao, Taiwan.
Huacui Bridge is a road and beam bridge in the Banqiao district of New Taipei City, Taiwan, crossing the Xindian River to connect several neighborhoods on either side. It carries multiple traffic lanes and has separate walkways on each side for pedestrians.
The bridge opened on August 16, 2001, adding a new crossing to a part of the Xindian River where traffic connections in Banqiao were already growing. Its construction was part of a wider road expansion across New Taipei City during that period.
The bridge sits along a stretch of the Xindian River that locals use regularly for walks and cycling. The pedestrian walkways offer a direct view over the river and the surrounding neighborhoods of New Taipei City.
The bridge runs along Xianmin Boulevard and can be reached on foot from nearby MRT stations or by bus. Pedestrians have their own walkways on each side, separate from vehicle traffic, making it easy to cross on foot at any time.
Huacui Bridge is one of the crossing points along Xianmin Boulevard, which runs as one of the longest urban roads through New Taipei City. This particular crossing over the Xindian River is positioned where the river makes a slight bend, giving pedestrians on the walkway an unusually open view in both directions.
