Stone Sculpture Park is an outdoor art exhibition featuring over 300 artistic pieces spread across 13 hectares of landscaped gardens, ponds, and walking paths. The collection consists mainly of sculptures and monuments carefully arranged throughout this green setting.
The park opened in 1994 as an initiative to integrate art into urban spaces and showcase monuments that had been relocated from various periods. This founding marked a turning point in how the city connects public art display with green spaces.
Sculptors from Taiwan and beyond display works here that explore different perspectives on local identity through stone carvings. The pieces encourage visitors to discover the connection between artistic creation and the natural landscape.
The entire park is equipped with paved walkways that make visiting comfortable throughout most seasons. Visitors can reach it directly by Taipei Metro from Jiangzicui Station, making access straightforward.
An annual Stone Sculpture Festival takes place where artists perform live demonstrations and visitors can join hands-on activities. These events offer the rare chance to observe the creative process of sculptors firsthand.
