Huajiang Bridge

Huajiang Bridge is a road crossing that spans multiple lanes while connecting Pingxi Road in Taipei City with Wenhua Road in Banqiao City. The structure carries thousands of vehicles daily and serves as a key transportation link between the two urban areas.

The bridge opened in October 1968, representing a major step forward in transportation infrastructure connecting Taipei City and the Banqiao District. Its completion created a direct route that accelerated urban development on both sides of the river.

The bridge links neighborhoods on either side of the river, making it easy to reach local markets, temples, and traditional residential areas in the Banqiao District. Over time, it has become central to how daily life flows between these communities.

Several bus routes run across the bridge, making it easy to move between Taipei and Banqiao without needing a personal vehicle. Walking across on foot is also straightforward since the structure provides adequate pedestrian access.

The bridge provides direct access to ShuangYuan and Huazhong Riverside Parks, which enhance recreational options for both residents and visitors. These nearby parks transform the location from a simple transit point into a destination for outdoor activity and leisure.
