Dhaka City Corporation is a former administrative division that once governed the capital of Bangladesh. It has since been reorganized into separate municipal zones that now handle city administration and services.
Dhaka City Corporation was established to manage the expanding capital, but operated only for a limited period. It was eventually dissolved and replaced by a new administrative system better suited to the growing city's needs.
