Nigrán

Nigrán is a municipality in Pontevedra Province, Galicia, situated along the Atlantic coast in the southern part of the region. The area comprises several small villages and settlements spread across rolling green hills and coastal zones.

The municipality developed from scattered rural settlements rooted in Galician traditions and coastal livelihoods. The area has long been shaped by small farming and fishing communities dependent on traditional maritime and agricultural activities.

The municipality can be reached by local roads and consists of several villages best explored on foot. The warmer months offer the best visiting conditions, when coastal paths are accessible and weather is pleasant.
