Barranco de Enmedio

Located between mountains, Barranco de Enmedio extends for 190 meters along the Costa Tropical, featuring a mixture of dark sand, rocks, and gravel.

The beach has remained undeveloped throughout the centuries, preserving its natural state as part of the traditional Costa Tropical landscape of Granada province.

Local residents maintain the beach's low-profile character, preferring its quiet environment over the more frequented coastal areas of Almuñécar.

Access requires taking the N-340 road exit at Urbanización Alfamar, followed by a dirt road that leads to limited parking spaces near the shore.

The shell-shaped configuration of the beach, combined with surrounding small mountains, creates natural barriers that maintain water temperatures at 23°C.
