Playa de Tesorillo, Almuñécar

Playa de Tesorillo is a sandy beach along the Costa Tropical coastline, featuring fine sand and clear Mediterranean waters between rocky cliffs. The broad shoreline provides space for swimming and relaxing with views of the surrounding coastal landscape.

The name comes from ancient coins discovered along the shoreline, pointing to the rich monetary history of the Mediterranean region. A Moorish watchtower atop the cliffs recalls the strategic importance of this coastal area during medieval times.

The two establishments at the beach entrance serve Spanish and Italian dishes, while live music performances happen on Friday evenings throughout the year. This mix reflects how the beach attracts visitors from different backgrounds.
