Peña Remoña

Pena Remona is a limestone summit in the heart of Picos de Europa National Park, with steep rock faces and exposed stone formations on its slopes. The rough surface and jagged outcrops shape the striking appearance of this mountain.

Shepherds have used the paths here since the Middle Ages to move their flocks between mountain pastures. These ancient routes became established over many generations and remain visible today.
