Mirador del Tombo

Mirador del Tombo is a scenic viewpoint built on a rock formation in Posada de Valdeón that spans across multiple levels. From this location, visitors can see the Picos de Europa peaks and the valley spread out below them.

The viewpoint was officially opened in 1964, marking a time when tourism began expanding in the mountain region. Its creation shows how local authorities started making the landscape more accessible for visitors to explore.
