Playa de las Conchas

Playa de las Conchas is a 610-meter-long beach on La Graciosa with fine white sand bordered by the reddish slope of Montaña Bermeja. The waters display typical Atlantic characteristics with deep blue tones and active wave conditions.

The beach formed through natural geological processes of the Chinijo Archipelago thousands of years ago. The shoreline has kept its original shape since this remote northern region of the Canaries experienced minimal human intervention.

The beach is a place where visitors experience traditional Spanish coastal culture that embraces open bathing practices. People use this area for unrestricted swimming, reflecting the local acceptance of personal freedom at the shoreline.
