Serralada de Marina Park

The protected area encompasses 2086 hectares of Mediterranean terrain between the Besos River and Can Bordoi Pass, reaching its peak at Turo de Galzeran at 485 meters.

The natural space received official protection status in 2002 through the establishment of a consortium involving multiple municipalities and the Barcelona Provincial Council.

The park implements educational programs each April, connecting local schools with nature through organized activities focused on environmental awareness and regional heritage.

Visitors access numerous hiking paths throughout the reserve, which maintains an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and receives between 500 to 600 millimeters of rainfall annually.

The granite formations and dike outcrops shape distinctive landscapes across the upper sections of the mountain range, creating specific habitats for local wildlife.
