Meloneras

Meloneras is a sandy beach on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, extending about 500 meters along the shoreline. A curved promenade runs alongside it, lined with restaurants, hotels, and shops that operate year-round.

The area started as a coastal settlement in the 1800s and grew when the nearby Maspalomas lighthouse was built. That landmark helped attract more visitors and development over time.
