The castle features a fortified gate with machicolations, a drawbridge crossing the moat, and buildings arranged around a rectangular courtyard.

The first mentions of Pontarmé estate date back to the 12th century when it belonged to the Bouteillers de Senlis family.

The ground floor and upper level contain two rooms each, equipped with fireplaces that reflect the architectural standards of French nobility.

The castle is located north of Pontarmé village near route D1017, with the Chantilly Forest starting immediately to its north.

The castle served as a hunting lodge for the Dukes of Montmorency and Princes of Condé until 1910.
