Toutatis, Steel roller coaster in Parc Astérix, France
The steel roller coaster extends over 1075 meters of track, incorporating multiple launches and reaching heights of 51 meters at its peak point.
The construction project, announced at IAAPA Orlando Expo in 2018, faced several delays due to environmental assessments before opening in April 2023.
The attraction takes its name from Toutatis, a Celtic deity who served as a tribal protector in ancient Gaul and Britain territories.
Visitors need to measure at least 130 centimeters in height to access the roller coaster, which operates daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The coaster features 23 moments of weightlessness during its 90-second ride, setting a world record for the number of airtime experiences.
