The Museum of Hungarian Aviation displays retired aircraft, military helicopters, and historical equipment across 4,500 square meters of indoor exhibition space.
Founded in 1973, the museum started as a collection from the Kilián György Flight Technical College and grew to include military and civil aircraft.
The museum preserves Hungarian aviation heritage through collaborations with the Military History Institute, presenting aircraft, uniforms, and photographic collections.
Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday to Thursday between 09:00 and 15:00, Friday from 09:00 to 13:00, and weekends from 10:00 to 16:00.
The museum holds the only operational Lisunov Li-2 aircraft in existence, along with recovered World War II aircraft including Il-2 and Bf 109s.
