Our Lady of Hungary Church, Szolnok, Catholic parish church in Szolnok, Hungary.

Our Lady of Hungary Church stands on Szent István Square on the site of the former castle. Built in 1822–24 to plans by Ferenc Homályossy, it has a classicist exterior and an Empire-style interior with main altar, pulpit, pews and communion rail. The tower rises above the entrance in the centre of the facade; behind the church stands a 1804 statue of John of Nepomuk.

A parish founded on this site in the 11th century by King Stephen I served the castle; under Ottoman rule the building became a mosque. It was demolished in 1820, and a new church was built nearby in 1822–24 to designs by Ferenc Homályossy, using stones from the ruined mosque and a medieval church. In 1919 the tower collapsed onto the altar during fighting between Hungarian and Romanian troops; the church was fully renovated in 1922.

The church is also called Vártemplom, meaning Castle Church, because it stands on the site of the former fortress. Its parish fair is held on 15 August, the feast of the Assumption. A statue of Saint Stephen, erected in 2001 on the initiative of parish priest Gacsári-Kiss Sándor, stands in front of the building.

The church is centrally located in Szolnok and easily accessible on foot; regular services follow the Catholic calendar. Visitors should check local opening times and dress appropriately if planning to attend services.

The church was built in 1822–24 from stones taken from a ruined Turkish mosque and a medieval church nearby, to plans by architect Homályossy Ferenc. Behind the building stands a statue of John of Nepomuk made in 1804, which originally stood by the bridge.
