Unnao gold treasure incident

The Unnao gold treasure site is an archaeological excavation near ancient fort ruins in Daundia Khera village, Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh. The location features visible trenches and stratified soil layers that reveal different periods of human habitation and settlement.

The Archaeological Survey of India conducted major excavations in 2013 following reports of significant gold deposits beneath the ruins at this location.
