Christ Church, Lucknow

Christ Church is a church building in Gothic architecture located in central Lucknow, distinguished by its five-storey pointed tower with Gothic arches and stained glass windows. The interior features tall arcades, slender circular pillars, and a wooden altar with religious figures in glass.

The building was constructed in 1860 during British colonial rule and was the first church in Northern India. It ranks among the three oldest churches in the entire country and shows the influence of European religious architecture on Indian landscape of that era.
