Bibiyapur Kothi, Historic residence on Gomti River banks in Lucknow, India.

The Bibiyapur Kothi features two stories constructed of stone with high ceilings and a spiral staircase in neo-classical architectural style.

Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula commissioned Swiss architect Antoine Polier to build this residence in the late 18th century as a retreat from royal court life.

The residence incorporates architectural elements from both Awadhi and French styles, using traditional Lakhauri bricks in its construction.

The building, maintained by the Indian Army, remains open to visitors who want to explore its historical architecture and royal heritage.

This location witnessed the coronation of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan on January 21, 1798, conducted by British official John Shore.
