Millennium City, skyscraper
Millennium City is a group of modern office towers in Kwun Tong located south of Kwun Tong Road near Ngau Tau Kok station. The buildings feature shiny blue glass facades and house office spaces, a large shopping mall called apm, and several dining options.
The initial buildings of this complex were completed and opened in 1998 by Sun Hung Kai Properties. This development marked the beginning of Kwun Tong's transformation from a purely industrial area into a modern commercial center.
The name Millennium City marks the opening of the first buildings in 1998, a moment of renewal for the district. The complex serves as a gathering place where office workers spend their breaks, shop in the stores, and rest in one of the few green areas within the Kowloon East business district.
The site is directly adjacent to Ngau Tau Kok station and is easily accessible by public transport. The complex offers over 400 parking spaces across three levels and has spacious, well-signaled entrance areas that make it easy for visitors to navigate between the different buildings and shops.
At the heart of the complex sits one of the largest green areas in the Kowloon East business district, a garden filled with plants that stands out sharply against the surrounding concrete buildings. This peaceful space offers a rare patch of nature in an otherwise densely commercial environment.
