Modern Media Center, High-rise building in Changzhou, China
Modern Media Center is a 57-story high-rise with 3 underground levels reaching 332 meters in downtown Changzhou. The structure houses broadcast studios, office spaces, and specialized production facilities within its modern framework.
The building was designed by Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research and constructed between 2010 and 2013. Its completion expanded media and broadcasting infrastructure in the city.
The building functions as a media hub where television and radio broadcasts are created for the Jiangsu region. Visitors can sense the working presence of journalists and producers throughout the floors dedicated to content creation.
The building features 21 elevators distributed across its floors for efficient vertical movement. Visitors should allow adequate time to navigate the large complex with its office areas, studios, and underground sections.
The complex was designed with integrated power systems to support the numerous studios and equipment rooms requiring continuous electricity. This makes it one of the city's most energy-intensive buildings, yet also one of the most stable for uninterrupted broadcast and production operations.
