The Plum Garden

The Plum Garden is a botanical garden between Dragon Mountain and Taihu Lake in Wuxi, spanning a large area with thousands of plum trees of various varieties. The garden displays a collection of plum bonsais and features areas with special stones and traditional structures such as pagodas.

An entrepreneur founded this garden in the early 20th century on a small plot of land and gradually expanded it into a significant facility. Over the decades, the site developed into an important monument for nature and history in the region.
