Established in 2007, the museum incorporates the original Wuxi Museum from 1958, along with the Revolution Exhibition Hall and Popular Science Museum.
The museum displays extensive collections of calligraphy, paintings, jade ornaments, and ancient artifacts that represent the regional artistic traditions.
Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with final entry permitted at 4:00 PM.
The building structure mirrors a Taihu Scholar Stone, featuring intentional openings that create natural light patterns throughout the interior spaces.
