The Tang Ancestral Hall features a traditional three-hall structure with two courtyards, incorporating detailed wood carvings and decorative murals throughout the building.
The Tang clan constructed this ancestral hall between 1749 and 1750, with subsequent renovations occurring in 1837 during the Daoguang period and 1883 in the Guangxu era.
The hall contains numerous honorary plaques in its middle section, documenting the Tang family's accomplishments within the Qing imperial administration system.
Visitors can explore multiple halls containing ancestral tablets, while the adjacent Guesthouse includes altars dedicated to the Gods of Literature and Martial Arts.
The building maintained its role as an educational center when the Yau Kung School used portions of the hall and Guesthouse for additional classroom space.
