The museum displays a collection of transportation vehicles across 150,000 square meters of outdoor space and 25,000 square meters of indoor exhibitions.
The Liller Halle, built in 1913 near Lille, was dismantled by German forces in 1915 and reconstructed in Speyer for the Pfalz Flugzeugwerke company.
The Wilhelmsbau building exhibits mechanical musical instruments, including a Welte philharmonic organ with three manuals and 2,592 pipes.
Visitors can access the museum Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and weekends from 9 AM to 7 PM, with limited wheelchair accessibility.
The museum exhibits the Russian BURAN space shuttle, which was transported by sea to Speyer in spring 2008.
