Dora's Big River Adventure is a log flume ride in Movie Park Germany featuring a 13-meter artificial mountain with colorful theming and two separate cave sections with mist and waterfalls. The course winds through a jungle-themed environment with varied water effects throughout.
The ride was built in 2008 by Preston & Barbieri, an Italian manufacturer, as part of the expansion of the NICKLAND themed area within the park. The manufacturer created this version using their established log flume design.
The ride draws from the Nickelodeon television series featuring Dora the Explorer, bringing the characters into a jungle setting that visitors experience as they travel through the course.
Visitors need to be at least 100 centimeters tall to ride, while those under 120 centimeters must be accompanied by an adult supervisor. Each boat holds four passengers and the 250-meter course takes about three and a half minutes to complete.
The cave walls are illuminated by laser lights during the journey, adding a technical element to the jungle adventure theme. Eight boats operate on the course, each creating separate splashes as they descend.
