The ride opened in 1996 as Bermuda Triangle before undergoing major renovation in 2019 to become an Area 51 military facility attraction. This transformation brought updated special effects and a completely redesigned storyline.

The ride draws from American conspiracy theories surrounding Area 51 and extraterrestrial research facilities. Visitors experience a blend of science fiction elements that reflect the cultural mythology of secretive military installations.
