Vorgeschichtspfad Flögeln

The Vorgeschichtspfad Flögeln is an archaeological site featuring prehistoric burial monuments and stone chambers throughout a forest area near Geestland. The path connects various structures, showing different types of grave constructions from ancient times.

The burial structures date from the Stone Age, when ancient people began placing their dead in stone constructions. This building method shows how communities worked together and what mattered to them when remembering those who had died.

Two particularly well-preserved tombs still show their original structure with support stones and capstones that have stood for thousands of years. These monuments give visitors a rare look at ancient building techniques.
