Gut Valenbrook

Gut Valenbrook is a two-story neoclassical manor house distinguished by a five-axis central projection and columns on its south facade. The property includes converted pig stables now serving as luxury apartments and a former granary that functions as an event hall for around 200 people.

The property originally belonged to Burg Elm as a knight's manor before passing to the von der Lieth family. Following Gustav von der Lieth's death in 1774, Georg von Hannover inherited the estate.

The estate carries the name of an ancient mill operation and today serves as an event venue and agricultural business. The conversion of former farm buildings into residential and event spaces shows how rural places adapt to new uses while keeping their historical origins alive.

The property is accessible through well-maintained pathways and features open areas to explore. Most visitors come for events, but it is possible to see the outdoor grounds and gardens outside event times.

On the grounds operates a small kitchen producing specialty foods such as chocolate, chutneys, dressings, and mustard during weekdays. This production connects traditional craft methods with the site's agricultural past.
