Aalborg Tower

Aalborg Tower is a steel lattice structure built on a hill, with an observation platform reaching 105 meters above sea level. It features an outdoor elevator system and a viewing deck that accommodates up to 50 people at once.

The tower opened in 1933 during a major trade fair and later came under the ownership of a shooting society with roots dating back to the 1430s. This transfer connected the structure to long-standing local traditions.

The restaurant in the upper section serves Danish cuisine and offers views of the Limfjord and city. It has become a gathering place where visitors experience local food while looking out over the landscape.

Ring the bell at the base to request the elevator, which operates during regular hours and stops during severe weather. Clear days offer the best views from the top.

The outdoor elevator is among the highest in Northern Europe, making the ride to the top a distinctive experience. Passengers enjoy views on all sides during the ascent, creating an unforgettable journey upward.
