Grundtvig's Church, Expressionist church in Bispebjerg, Denmark

The yellow brick structure rises 49 meters high with a 76-meter length, featuring a western facade that resembles a monumental church organ.

Construction started in 1921 after architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint won a design competition, and his son Kaare completed the work in 1940.

The church commemorates Danish theologian N.F.S. Grundtvig through its design that merges traditional Danish village church elements with Gothic Revival architecture.

The church opens Monday through Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00, with extended hours until 18:00 on Thursdays, and includes wheelchair access facilities.

The interior contains two organs, including one with an 11-meter pipe weighing 425 kilograms, which stands as the longest organ pipe in Scandinavia.
