The Pharaonic Village spans thirty acres along the Nile River, featuring reconstructions of ancient Egyptian buildings and daily life demonstrations throughout connected waterways.
Dr. Hassan Ragab established this educational site in 1986, creating a living museum that presents three thousand years of Egyptian civilization through accurate historical recreations.
More than one hundred performers demonstrate traditional crafts including papyrus making, pottery creation, and weaving techniques while wearing period-appropriate clothing.
The park operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with extended summer hours until 7:00 PM, offering guided tours through twelve different museums.
Visitors travel through the village exclusively by motorized barges on water canals, observing historical scenes while surrounded by thick vegetation that blocks modern Cairo views.
