Val d'Ese

Val d'Ese is a ski resort situated in the Corsican mountains at roughly 1600 meters elevation. The site features multiple runs of varying difficulty spread across the slopes.

Development of the area started in the 1970s with road construction. The first ski lifts were installed in 1976 on the Ese plateau.

The French Ski School instructors provide structured training programs for different age groups, maintaining traditional alpine skiing education methods in Corsica.

Equipment rental is available in Bastelica village before heading up to the slopes. A small hut at the station provides basic food and refreshments during your visit.

From the southern slopes, skiers can see across the valleys toward the Gulf of Ajaccio. This view combines mountain descent with glimpses of the sea beyond.
