Bekey Cave

Bekey Cave is a natural cave beneath Budapest that features multiple chambers and passages carved into limestone bedrock. The passages vary in size and continue through the rock in different directions, creating an intricate underground network.

The cave formed millions of years ago when thermal springs flowed through the limestone and carved out the underground passages. This geological process created the structure that exists beneath the city today.
