Originally named Bairagarh until 2018, this station was renamed to honor a respected local figure in the community. It was previously operated under the Ratlam Division of Western Railway before being transferred to the West Central Railway zone.
This ground-level station is easily accessible from local roads with auto-rickshaws and taxis available nearby. Parking spaces and bicycle facilities are provided for travelers, and the station has restrooms and basic waiting areas for comfort during your journey.
The station features a guidance system for train coaches that displays the code and coach number of arriving trains, helping passengers identify their trains more easily. This practical addition was installed during the 2021 renovation to improve the travel experience.
