San Giovanni a Teduccio

San Giovanni a Teduccio is a coastal quarter on the eastern side of Naples that stretches along the shoreline. The neighborhood blends residential streets with access to a sandy beach where visitors can walk and take in the seaside environment.

The quarter's name originates from a 4th-century marble portrait of Saint John connected to a local building. This religious heritage shaped the site's identity for centuries and gave the place its lasting name.

The neighborhood is home to the Pietrarsa Railway Museum, located in a historic factory building. Visitors can explore how this site was once a center of railway manufacturing and industrial activity.
