San Clemente, Padua, Mannerist church in Padua, Italy

San Clemente stands near Piazza dei Signori with a facade divided by pilasters topped by Corinthian capitals and crowned with religious statues.

The church origins trace back to January 17, 1001, and since 1386 it commemorates the victory at the Battle of Castagnaro.

The main altarpiece presents Pope Clement I among angels, painted in 1782 by Luca Ferrari, alongside works by Pietro Damini.

The building contains the tomb of renowned Paduan sculptor Titian Minium and features a rose window with terracotta decorations from the 7th century.
